Nickel & Diner

This past weekend I grabbed coffee right off the Canal Street Q subway, called Nickel and Diner.  This is the type of place that is an extremely versatile restaurant, in which you can either grab a cup of coffee to go, a drink after work or to share a meal with friends. I stumbled into here around 2pm on a Saturday and it wasn't packed, making it a perfect time to order an iced coffee and take some aesthetically pleasing pictures. When taking the perfect Instagram picture at Nickel and Diner you should definitely take advantage of their front counter area and the flooring because of the simple color scheme and decoration that is pleasing to the eye. The employees are very friendly when it comes to wanting to take pictures throughout the restaurant. For instance after I ordered a coffee the waitress was happy to move out of the way so that so I could get a decent photo. This restaurant has been seen on Instagram accounts such as @brunchboys which post pictures of all the best brunch spots around the city. This diner is perfect if you just want to stop in and grab a coffee or sit down and have a meal, either way you will be able to get the perfect Instagram picture!
