Barney's Gene Cafe

This past weekend the weather was beautiful so I decided to go to Barney's Gene Cafe, which allows you to have a beautiful view of the Upper East Side while you sit on the balcony of their cafe on the 8th floor. Once you get to the Gene Cafe you have to have your beverage and/or food for here to be able to have a seat outside! I suggest going before the weather gets really cold out because it's a view that should not be missed out on. They offer everything from a latte to a sophisticated cocktail, and also offer food! When I went the service was very nice and no one minded that my friend and I had a mini photoshoot while we drank our lattes sitting on the balcony. Since it is located in Barney's you can do a little light (or heavy) shopping before or after you get your picture, making it a way to spend even more hours on end in the store. It's a very small space so it's best to go on a weekday during the day for you to have the best chance to get the perfect table right outside!
