Infinity Mirrors

This past week I went to the Infinity Mirrors exhibit by Yayoi Kusama which is currently taking place at the David Zwiner Gallery located in Chelsea. This exhibit has taken place all over the country from Los Angeles to Washington DC and is currently going to be in New York until December 15th. The lines are usually pretty long, which can range from 2-4 hours because it is only here for a limited time but I suggest going on a weekday to shave a little time off. When I went it was during the week around noon and we only waited about an hour. There are three rooms when you get into the exhibit, one is the room with the mirrors and floating balls, the next is a structure which is almost like a kaleidoscope (pictured below) and the last room is all white covered in red spots! When you do get into the exhibit with the mirrors and floating balls you are only allowed a minute to get the perfect Instagram picture! I suggest looking at other posts to see what angles are best before going in! This exhibit is really cool because when you take the pictures it really allows for an amazing illusion of it being never-ending. I really think it looks good on any feed such as a feed that is more colorful or even one that is more neutral colors. This exihibit is a fun and cool location, pictures to prove it or not, come and experience never ending excitment in what this artist has displayed for us.
